If you plan to pay by credit or debit card, please read!
Credit Card Users:

Credit card payments are accepted through our secure, 
online PayPal shopping cart  only.

If you would like to call in your order and follow up with a Money Order 
or personal check, that is okay.  But your payment must be received (and check must clear the bank) before your items are sent.  

To call in your order and follow up with a check or Money Order, please call 207-799-2447 (in US only).  
International customers must use the online shopping cart.

We accept orders by phone only during our posted hours:
10:00am - 8:00pm (Eastern Time) Tuesday through Saturday.
Noon to 8:00pm (ET) Mondays
We are closed on Sunday and holidays.

If you receive the answering machine, 
please leave a message with your phone number and we will call you back.

Debit Card Users:

When you use your debit card (in which the payment is withdrawn from your checking or savings account), it is the same as sending us a check.  At the same time you place your order, PayPal sends out a request to your bank to transfer the funds to The Silver Penny's PayPal account.  The transfer of the funds takes 4-5 business days to be completed.  Although you have authorized a payment to us, we actually do not receive the payment for a few days.  

If you use a debit card, we will hold your order until we receive notification that the transfer is completed.  In other words, your order will not be shipped for 4-5 business days.

If you are in a hurry and need your items to be shipped the next business day after receiving your order, then DO NOT use a debit card.  Please use a credit card so we can process 
and ship your order immediately.
