Skill Level: One of our quickest and easiest Wee Folk Dwelling to create, taking approximately 6-8 hours to complete. Although we don’t recommend it as a first project, even beginners with basic sewing machine experience can produce a professional result. A zigzag sewing machine is required to complete this project. The completed Fairy Hut is recommended for ages 3 and older.

*Note about Interfacing used in kit: We include Timtex™ or Peltex™ ultra-stiff interfacing in our basic kit. You can sew through it easily, it is machine washable, dryable and is highly durable for a child’s toy. This is a new product and may be difficult to find in your local fabric store. For that reason, we are offering the interfacing only option below that includes enough Timtex™ or Peltex™ for one Fairy Hut for those who already own the pattern and wish to use their own fabrics and other supplies.

Included in the basic kit is the Timtex or Peltex ultra-stiff interfacing, enough to complete one Fairy Hut, and the instruction booklet which features color photos, excellent diagrams and full-size patterns. (You will need to provide your own Wonder Under iron-on fusible, fabrics, buttons, pipe cleaners, thread and glue.) Finished Hut measures 7½” wide by 12” tall.
Simple construction consists of fusing fabrics, finishing edges and gluing or sewing together! The unique characteristic of the ultra-stiff interfacing results in a durable house for your tiny dolls.
