Creating a doll on a pedestal is an interesting technique that can be useful in many other Waldorf dollmaking applications! This beautiful 11" doll is created on a weighted, wooden doll stand, which is eventually covered by a muslin petticoat. The illustrated instructional booklet has color photos, diagrams and full-size patterns. This project requires a basic knowledge of sewing and a moderate dollmaking skill level. Man in the Moon: Sandman Doll & Mobile Pattern

With this pattern, you will create an adorable 4" Sandman doll that will ride upon a moonbeam into your child's bedroom to scatter the magical stardust of pleasant dreams and a good night's sleep.
